IREM Columbus President, Laurie Rushevics CPM®, nominated to the IREM National Governing Council

Published Slate of 2021 Governing Council Nominees & Proposed Amendments to IREM® Bylaws

IREM committees and boards will meet virtually for the 2020 Annual Governance Meetings to conduct IREM business and impact the future of the Institute—from October 5-9, 2020. The Governing Council meeting, at which the annual membership meeting takes place, will be held on October 14, 2020 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Slate of 2021 Governing Council Nominees
The IREM Nominating Committee has announced its slate of nominees for Governing Council, with terms beginning at the conclusion of the 2020 annual IREM meeting. The election of Governing Councillors will be conducted virtually during the annual membership meeting; all IREM members in attendance may vote on this election.

IREM Bylaws Amendments
In accordance with the IREM Bylaws, proposed amendments to the IREM Bylaws must be reported to membership at least thirty (30) days in advance of the Governing Council meeting, at which a vote will be taken. Only Governing Councillors may vote on bylaw amendments.

The amendments to the Bylaws are the result of the work of 2020 Presidential Task Forces. The link below provides the full report with background and motions that resulted in the corresponding Bylaws amendments.
